Tech Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

This is Entry level job.

  • Quick learner of new products and troubleshooting skills
  • Pre sales support: CCTV system design, Customer-facing product presentation thru webinar or visit customer’s company.
  • Feel comfortable to talk to customer face by face and work independently to host training events
  • Great team member and able to share the knowledge and work with other team member
  • Provide technical support via phone or email
  • Use remote software to troubleshoot the issue
  • Document and research all inquiries or problems in ticketing system
  • Test cameras related products and management software
  • Assemble HDD to recorder
  • Assist RMA process
  • Able to travel to customer site to do the training or troubleshooting (could be local or out of state)

Ideal candidate

  • Background in video surveillance, CCTV, or IT Networking
  • No Experience is fine
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills with ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a desire to take on responsibility
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Able to travel occasionally both local or within North Americas
